As one of the “lucky ones” who is quite literally not allergic to anything, I have never had to worry about avoiding certain food products or reading the ingredients on everything I eat in case it is going to try to kill me.
Recently I have been working with a friend who is allergic to gluten and dairy. I can not even fathom how difficult that must be to deal with on a daily basis!
Right on cue, I was sent a goodie box from Delicious Alchemy, and my eyes were opened to their delicious gluten and (if needed) dairy-free treats!

The fun thing about the Delicious Alchemy products is that you get to do baking – which I also love! The products all come ready to cook and you just need to add normal “around-the-house” ingredients like eggs, butter or a dairy-free butter alternative.

In my goodie box was the cooking materials for Chocolate Brownies, Oaty Cookies and a Vanilla Sponge as well as a yummy Fruity Muesli.
As a proper chocoholic, I had to start with the Chocolate Brownies!
The instructions are so easy to follow!

- Pour the Mix into a bowl.
- Add 100g Melted Butter
- Add 2 eggs
- Pour into the tin and cook for 20 mins at 180’C

Easy Peasy!
This packet made 10 large brownies, but you could probably cut them smaller.

I came down this morning, and there were 4 left…and I’ve only had one.

These brownies are so squidgy and yummy – If you didn’t tell me they were gluten-free, I would honestly be unable to tell any difference. They are chocolately, yummy and fudgey – what more do you need?!?!
There may well be some gluten-free oaty cookies in the oven right now….I don’t know how they got there…:-)
N.B. This is not sponsored content – Delicious Alchemy sent me a goodie box – but I have only written about it because it was so good!
Delicious Alchemy have a whole range of Gluten and Dairy-free products available. Have a look at their website for more information.
