Just a short post today as I’ve just come off the mountain from a long day of skiing and little old me is a little sleepy!
So, I’ve finally gone red-head! I have wanted to do this for so long. Literally years I have been talking about doing it – apologies to everyone who has had to put up with me chatting about it!
My hair has always been a kind of in-between light brown-auburn mix. I have been thinking about going for it for so long that I have finally (about bloody time!) decided to do it.
No amount of out-of-the-packet, do-it-at-home dyes would do the job right or get the colour I wanted so I ended up going to my wonderful hairdresser, Roy, to do it properly!
As I’ve been waiting so long to do this, I wanted to put this up here, even if it is only of interest to me…so here goes!

Right, I’m off for a quick G&T and to rest my little legs after a long day on the mountain before dinner – over 18 miles skied today (max speed of 48.2mph hit! Watch this space!) – No doubt I will end up posting a blog about my trip, but in the meantime, my instagram and twitter will most probably be full of pictures of snow, sun, wine and good food, so if you fancy seeing what I’m getting up to, click on the links and follow me! 🙂

April 6, 2015 at 12:19 amLovely! The less you wash it, the longer the colour will stay, so dry shampoo is your friend. Also, don't go swimming until you've washed it a few times as the chlorine will start to give it a greenish hue.
