April Favourites | AD

Is it just me or did April go by REALLY REALLY fast?!

So, now that I’m not moving house again (yet!) my April favourites are much more general than my March favourites!

1. Holiday Time!

Technically not an “item” but definitely one of the favourite parts of my month was my trip skiing! We all deserve a holiday every now and again and this trip was perfect! Have a read a bit more about my trip, including a raspberry macaroon the size of my face, here.

2. Once Upon A Time.

I have watched this series before, but I am newly obsessed! I cannot stop watching it – whenever I have an hour to myself you can guarantee it will be me, a cup of tea and Once Upon A Time on Netflix! 🙂

It’s all the big fairy stories together – what more does a girl need?!?!

3. Going Redhead.

Again, technically not an “item” but I was so nervous about going redhead and I cannot get over how much I love it! It’s just got so much more to it now – and I was told this weekend that this year is apparently meant to be “The Year of the Redhead” – can only stand me in good stead!

4. My New Skincare Regime

I actually have a post written and ready to go out about this, but basically I had fallen into bad habits and I have bought a load of new products and reinvented my skincare routine and I am loving the results – full product list etc out in my new post on Sunday! 🙂

My skin feels so clear and I have been waking up looking like I’ve actually been asleep and rested as opposed to looking like I could do the weekly shop with the bags under my eyes!

5. Ashleigh & Burwood Candles!

I am a huge fan of candles. I will always have a few in my room, and one of the first things I will do if I am sitting down to work or read or something is get one lit.

Ashleigh & Burwood sent me a couple of their new candles, Madagascan Vanilla and Seychelles, from their Escapology range, as a treat and I LOVE THEM!

I’ve had them lit a lot and they last so well – and they smell INCREDIBLE! These scents are so summery that added to the gorgeous weather we were having, it felt like summer was well and truly here! I will certainly be coming back for more after these burn out! YUM!

Sending a big thank you to Katy at “Ashleigh & Burwood” for sending me these gorgeous candles! *These candles were gifted to me, however all views are my own.

6. All I Know Now.

Carrie Hope Fletcher is a blogger, youtube sensation, performer and now – an author!

She has written “All I Know Now” in her position as universal big sister to the teen generation and it is fantastic – I’m about half way through now and I can’t put it down. She has poured her own personal stories into the pages and uses her own experience to make the growing-up experience easier – where was this book when I was 13?! or 14, 15, 16 through to now, in fact – its fab!

Carrie is also a truly lovely person, we have sung in a couple of gigs together in the past and she really is as lovely as her YouTube personality portrays her to be – so pleased this book has been such a success for her. 🙂
