The other night we went out for dinner by the estuary in Rock (I’m back in cornwall for a week or so) at a gorgeous restaurant called “No 1 Rock Road” – The food started coming out and I thought it looked so scrummy, and the view and setting was so lovely I just had to take some photos to show you guys in a little blog post!
The seafood down here is incredible – so fresh and so so well cooked!
I had calamari (see above – I know, it is so naughty and fried but it was soooooo good!) and then had the seabass, served with crispy pancetta, aioli and veg – which was seriously good!
The rest of the table had such a great selection too – there were mussels, crab salad, a “trio of fish” and some scallops – and it was all so yummy!
Obviously accompanied by a few bottles of wine and topped off with a dip in the hot tub when we got back – it was a really lovely evening!
p.s. check out the gorgeous view too!
