I have mentioned before on here that I am one of those weird women that doesn’t enjoy shopping – I just find the whole experience really uninspiring and I get bored VERY quickly! However, when the sun started peeking through the blanket of cloud we have been dozing under for the past 6 months and decided it was summer, I looked in my wardrobe and found that I had precisely nothing appropriate for summer-wear! With a few weeks in sunny cornwall and a fortnight in the states booked this summer, that situation obviously had to change!

So, I braced myself and went shopping. I had no idea what I was looking for – I just wanted stuff to wear for summer weather in London, Bristol, Cornwall and New York – so versatility was key.
So, without further ado, this is what I bought – as modelled by my gorgeous younger sister (well, I can’t take the photos and be in them! – I haven’t worked out how to be that genius a blogger yet – p.s. any bloggers with tips on this, please comment below!)
- Label Lab Vest – House of Fraser

2. Fat Face Stripe Playsuit

3. New Look Shorts
These New Look shorts are fab – so comfy and easy to wear – I also bought a couple in a similar shape from fat face which I am wearing as I write this, hence them not being in the photos! 🙂

4. Oasis Strawberry Cami Dress

5. Warehouse Jumpsuit

6. New Look Crochet Shorts

7. Miss Selfridge Stripe Shirt (above)
8. Fat Face Pineapple Maxi Dress

9. Fat Face Abstract Floral Maxi Dress

I also got a few more summer bits and bobs for my birthday so I am now completely ready for whatever the next few months decide to throw at me and can finally put away anything wintery for at least a month or two! 🙂
