I know, this is cheating a little bit, but seeing as I’ve got several posts to catch up on, and I wasn’t on placement or in uni for these two weeks so I don’t actually have a huge amount to write, I decided to put 66 and 67 together.
After I finished in my gynae placement we were off for christmas, so I spent a lot of time getting christmas shopping done and doing a serious amount of festive baking ahead of our two week trip away to see pretty much every single family member we have.
However, over christmas we had to do a lot of revision too as we had a huge exam in the first week of January (cruel or what?!?!) so I tried to cram in a few days of solid work for that before we went away too – I knew I’d be very busy once all the family time started and it’d be a “little and often” kinda thing rather than getting solid hard work done so I made sure I got a bit of solid ground work in place.
Other than revision however, my christmas and new year was really brilliantly not-midwifery-related – the perfect break and just what I needed!
Anyway, this is just a quick post really just to catch up so I don’t really have much else to say except that I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and here’s to a fantastic 2018! 🙂
