Back when I was applying to university to become a student midwife, I kept my cards very very close to my chest. I had decided that I wasn’t going to tell people I was moving on from performing until I had my place at university and it was all confirmed, so it meant that I didn’t share anything about the process and the things involved with applying to become a student midwife – but it is something I get asked about almost daily.
So, I’ve finally put together a video with my UCAS application journey and sharing some information about the entire process for those of you who might be interested.
I hope it helps and please feel free to leave any questions in the comments. 🙂

October 4, 2020 at 1:40 pmHi Rosie, I am just about to start my online access course (as my degree was achieved in 2011, so over the five year threshold). Can you please let me know if you’re going to do a vlog on personal statement and interview? Many thanks, Beth x

July 16, 2021 at 7:22 pmHi Rosie.. Hope you don’t mind me asking, for the interviews did you have to take any of your previous qualification certificates with you. I am wondering what I might need to take or show them? Thankyou Lisa

I think I did have to take them with me but each interview will specify what they need from you when you get offered the interview.
Hope that helps – good luck! xx
