4 weeks of the best cuddles imaginable, of those squishy cheeks and those tiny fingers and toes, of getting my boobs out wherever and whenever you need them, of 3am wake ups and perfect sleepy snuggles - I can’t get enough of you little Evie! 👶🏼💕
Being your mummy is the best job ever - both me and daddy (and your big brother Murph 🐾) love you with all our hearts! 🥰

🥰 Baby’s First Holiday 🥰
We weren’t sure if we would be able to make it to Cornwall for the bank holiday with a tiny not-even-4-week-old baby, but here we are and we are so glad we made the journey! 💕
Evie turns 4 weeks old at 22.25 tonight and there are no words to describe how much we love her! 👶🏼
We arrived last night and today she had so many firsts - baby’s first time in Padstow, her first time on a boat and her first time on the beach! (And, as an added bonus, she gave us the best nights sleep we have had since she was born last night!)💕
So looking forward to a few days soaking up some Cornish sunshine, showing Evie some of our favourite places, including visiting the place where @matt.griff90 proposed - all while staying at the Roundhouse, where we had our wedding reception! ❤️💍
Feeling so very lucky right now; and that’s as much as my new mummy hormones will let me say without crying all the happy tears! 🥲💕👶🏼

Our newborn shoot photos are back; and I’m so so in love with them! So pleased we decided to capture Evie so early on in this way! 💕
Not only do we have the shots forever but it was also a really special experience on the actual shoot day too; taking a second to let it sink in that we made a beautiful baby, and how perfect she is! 🥰@natalielphotographytelford understood exactly what we wanted and exceeded all expectations! 💕🎊👶🏼

I was fully expecting you to be still be curled up in my tummy at this point, and couldn’t have imagined reaching this date with you having been in our arms for 2.5 weeks already! 🥰
You’ve changed our lives forever, little Evie, and we love you so much - even if we could do with just a little more sleep! 😂

I knew, even before I became a midwife, that when

I knew, even before I became a midwife, that when the time came to having babies, I wanted to breastfeed. 🥰
Over the years, I have seen so many women struggle so much and need help and support, so now, I feel even more lucky that we seem to be managing so well on our own breastfeeding journey. 💕
Evie is a little Milk Monster and seems so settled feeding too (as this photo from Saturday morning - just 7 days old - shows!) 👶🏼
No, it’s not been easy, but it is already such a hugely rewarding and wonderful experience and something I hope I will never take for granted! 💕
I’m sure there are more challenges to come, but so far, I am loving it, and I think she is too! 🥰
It is definitely a choice and not for everyone, and I fully acknowledge that I am very lucky that it seems to be going so well; and that I am so well supported by my wonderful husband @matt.griff90 - honestly, couldn’t ask for more! 💕

I am so excited to share this one with you guys; definitely a labour of love - this is part one of our nursery transformation! Our third bedroom has been Matt's office for the last 18 months and now it has been transformed from a plain white box (literally as it was when we moved into our new build house in September 2020) into the perfect nursery for our baby girl!
Tune in next week for Part Two including the building of all our nursery furniture, putting up the new curtain pole and some shelves, and adding the STUNNING decals to finish off the room - as well as the big reveal!

I am so excited to finally share our babymoon vlog! We went to Pelagos Suites Hotel (Link below) in Kos, Greece, for a week when I was 26 weeks pregnant. Our first trip abroad since the pandemic and our last before the arrival of our baby girl!!
I've finished work for maternity leave now so am looking forward to sharing a lot more pregnancy related content with you all, including our nursery transformation, packing my hospital bag and more!!

So excited to share this First Trimester update with you guys - I did try to vlog, but as you will hear in the video, I suffered really badly with nausea and vomiting and so the vlog sadly got abandoned!
So, I've done a bit of a sit down chatty video sharing my experiences in the first trimester; highs and lows, early scans, anxiety, telling out families and more.
Bit of a warning; I do mention sickness and vomiting a bit because these were pretty constant in my first trimester so don't feel like you need to watch if that is triggering for you.
Likewise, if watching pregnancy related content in any form is triggering for you for whatever reason, please don't feel like you need to watch this - look after yourself first!
