Two years ago this week, we brought home our perfect puppy, Murphy! 🥰
Can’t believe it’s been two years already - you are our first baby, and the best and gentlest big brother ever! 🐶
It’s so sweet seeing Murphy and Evie starting to interact more now - can’t get enough of our perfect pair! 🐶💕👶🏼

FIVE MONTHS • 💕 Can’t believe our little Ev

FIVE MONTHS • 💕
Can’t believe our little Evie pea is 5 months old already!
This month has seen her find her voice more; she now enjoys lots of chatting (including the odd chat at 5am which mummy just loves!) and the newest addition of roaring like a lion! 🦁
We are getting some more giggles now, and she’s much more confident in using her hands to grab onto things too!
She’s had a really lovely first Christmas and has been spoilt rotten! 🎁
She met Father Christmas, went to the Birmingham Christmas market with her little friends Charlie and Reuben, and managed to see loads of family too! 🥰
She’s getting closer to sitting up by herself each day, and she’s finding her feet too!
Can’t believe how magical her smile is - makes every day brighter! We love you Evie pea! 🥰

SIX YEARS •
Six years ago today I met this wonderful man! 🥰
Six completely incredibly years have passed since, where I have been loved and supported by him every second; engagement, graduation, multiple house moves, getting our awesome Murph, our wedding and now helping me through pregnancy and birth, and becoming parents! It’s certainly been an adventure! 😊
Seeing you become a daddy this year has made me love you more than I ever thought possible, and seeing you and Evie together every day makes my heart melt!! 🥰

Every year since I can remember. I’ve made mince

Every year since I can remember. I’ve made mince pies with my mum at Christmas time. Every year without fail. 🎄
And since I’ve been an adult, if I’ve not been at home with my mum, I’ve still made them. Every year. 🎅🏼

Today I got to continue the tradition with a really special addition - this year I am the mum, making mince pies with my daughter - continuing the tradition for a whole new generation! 💕
Super special - and of course we made daddy get involved too! 🥰

👶🏼 FOUR MONTHS 👶🏼
I can’t believe our little Evie is four months old already (and a little bit - have yet to manage to take one of these monthly photos on the actual day!)
She’s really becoming her own little person now, with the biggest and most magical smiles ever! 🥰
She’s found her hands this past month or so, and is starting to find her thumb too. The rivers of dribble necessitate a bib at all times, and she’s starting to grab at things and hold them in her hands which is super cute!! 💕
She’s definitely growing, and feeds like a little monster. She is also a little moth-baby, drawn to any light, be it sensory lights, light coming in above the curtains in the morning, or the really dim lamp I use to change her nappy by at 4am! 😂
Her favourite things are her sensory baby classes, Jiggy Babies and Hartbeeps, spending time with all her little baby friends (there are lots - she has a better social life than me already!), cuddling her little elephant Smudge and she’s also starting to enjoy interacting with Murphy which is the most adorable thing in the world! 🐶
We love you more than words can say our little Evie-Pea - can’t wait to dive into your first Christmas, even though you won’t have a clue what’s going on! 👶🏼🎄🎅🏼🎁

This year’s new Christmas decoration has arrived

This year’s new Christmas decoration has arrived this morning - absolutely love this decoration from @beeandblush for Evie’s First Christmas! 💕
It has joined the house decoration from 2020 and the wedding decoration (and one for getting Murphy 🐶) from 2021 at the top of the tree! Such a special tradition! 🥰

One year later…. 💕
On this day last year; @matt.griff90 and I were picking out our Christmas tree, and crossing our fingers that we would soon be expecting a new addition; little did we know, that baby Evie was already snuggled in and cooking, smaller than a pinprick, but definitely there, and we would find out about her in just a few short days! This year, we were back again, same place, but this year with our perfect baby girl in tow - genuinely couldn’t be happier! 🥰🥰🥰

We took our perfect baby girl swimming for the first time today! 🥰 We didn’t know exactly what to expect or whether she would like it at all, but she loved the whole thing! Big smiles, lots of gurgles and not a single tear, even after a very quick dip underwater! 💕
Can’t wait to go again now!! 👶🏼❤️

I am so excited to share this one with you guys; definitely a labour of love - this is part one of our nursery transformation! Our third bedroom has been Matt's office for the last 18 months and now it has been transformed from a plain white box (literally as it was when we moved into our new build house in September 2020) into the perfect nursery for our baby girl!
Tune in next week for Part Two including the building of all our nursery furniture, putting up the new curtain pole and some shelves, and adding the STUNNING decals to finish off the room - as well as the big reveal!

I am so excited to finally share our babymoon vlog! We went to Pelagos Suites Hotel (Link below) in Kos, Greece, for a week when I was 26 weeks pregnant. Our first trip abroad since the pandemic and our last before the arrival of our baby girl!!
I've finished work for maternity leave now so am looking forward to sharing a lot more pregnancy related content with you all, including our nursery transformation, packing my hospital bag and more!!
